Questions teachers ask

Which pictures does it use?: Only Teach with Krystal pictures: more than 500 original AAC pictures, each in colorful and stick figure style, shared under CC BY-SA 4.0. You can also add your own photos and drawings to your account.
Do I need a device for every student?: No. Run Morning Meeting on one classroom screen or board, and use a tablet for a single student. Every picture speaks out loud when tapped.
Can I change the slides, words and pictures?: Yes. Turn on Teacher mode to edit rules, schedules, routines, word boards and more. For Morning Meeting, make your own copy of any deck to reorder, hide or add slides. Built-in decks stay as they are, so you can always go back.
What does the AI helper do?: On a paid plan, it can draft a slide, build a themed deck, or turn today's participation into notes you can edit. It only picks pictures from the Teach with Krystal set, and nothing is added until you say so.
What student information is saved?: Only what you add: students' first names, their picture PINs, and the taps, turns and notes you choose to save. It's kept in your private account, and share links for aides and families don't show student names.
Can students sign in themselves?: Yes. Each student can have a picture PIN, so they can open their own board without typing a password.
Can I use it with verbal and non-verbal learners together?: Yes. Every activity has pictures and speaks out loud, so speaking students build early reading skills while AAC users have a clear way to join in.
